The Greatest Gift to Mankind
Lord Buddha enlightened himself and revealed the "Nobel Eightfold Path" to end all sufferings in that historical "Vesak Full Moon Poya Day" about 2500 years ago. Even today Buddhists all over the world celebrate Buddha's greatest gift to the mankind, The Dhamma, in Vesak Poya Day.
In Sri Lanka Vesak Festival is one of the most celebrated religious events.
